Expedition with us

With a leafy green campus just a stone's throw away from the Peak District Park we start working towards towards The Duke of Edinburgh's Bronze. KEY FACTS · Subject specialist Teachers of the Deaf continue to deliver key curricula including Mathematics, English and British Sign Language Level 3 together with wider subject areas including independent travel, problem solving, driving theory, working with others, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, independent living skills, Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) incorporating Relationships and Sex Education. · Courses lead to a full range of widely recognised qualifications at a level appropriate to the student including Entry Level, GCSE & A Level. Heard of the acronym NEET - not in in employment, education or training? We strive to ensure all of our Post 16 leavers successfully transition to further education, employment or training. We are looking forward to showcasing their careers. In the meantime we have self-made business entrepreneurs, graduates in physics, fine art and Level 3 apprentices to name but a few.
